Djeguena is a village of approximately 1,400 people located in Mali. The Radly Center assisted the village with the following:
- Funding for the development of the village health center (in conjunction with funds from the local government). This is the first health center for the village.
- Drugs and medial equipment for the health center.
- Solar powered lighting (first time the village has had lighting)
- A "plug n play" solar system including that can be used to power any electrical device (first tie the village has had electricity)
- A computer and printer to enable the village to provide birth certificates and identity documents for the first time.
- SW radio to enable the village to know what is going on in Mali (such as important political events)
